National Hairstyle Appreciation Day

So, April 30th is National Hairstyle Appreciation Day. Who knew?

Each generation seems to have a style that defines the times – from a beehive to a bob to a bouffant. And who can forget these oldies but goodies? Feathered, ducktail, flip, pixie, spike and dreads.

What can YOU do to celebrate? Try a fun, new hairstyle. No need to go to extremes. For example, if you usually wear your hair straight, add some curl. If you usually go curly, try flat ironing  your hair. Opt for a different cut.  Add an accent color at the roots. Try a new shade. Pop in some highlights to celebrate spring (finally!).
